Mount Movement Glitch: Random Teleportation Bug
I recently got the Broom Mount and have been enjoying the increased movement speed. However, I’ve encountered an issue where, during travel, the game occasionally glitches and teleports my character to a random location that wasn’t on my intended path. It’s pretty jarring when it happens, and I’m not sure if this is affecting all mounts or specifically the Broom Mount. I’ve attached a video for reference to assist in identifying the issue.

What I’ve noticed is that if I click on the map to go somewhere, it will go slower than usual, but it won’t glitch or send me back.
If I move using the keyboard arrows, it will look faster but will often teleport me back.
I have a pencil mount, for reference.

Until a more optimized travelling system is put in place, I would recommend removing the canyon zones.
The passages are already built on the map, just need to remove the zone-changing tiles.
It would make travelling through the map a much less painful experience.

The issue with mount rubberbanding is known and the team is looking into it. In terms of changing zones, I’ll be sure the team is aware of the sentiment.

It happens pretty often, i think the servers cant keep up with the mount speed.

@kairoken Totally! Glad to know I’m not the only one experiencing it. It does seem like the faster movement speed might be causing some sync issues.

Thank you for all the feedback here - we’ve just fixed this issue and will push it into the next hotfix bringing smooth mount and teleportation on mounts back to Soulbound.

it happens even without a mount, and at the entrance to lush teleports to the entrance to the city of Arcadia

Very interesting — sounds like it might not be just mounts, but quite noticeable when riding one.
