Increase timer duration after clearing a level

Can you please increase the timer duration once we clear a level in the Everdune?

We often run out of time to mine all the ores of the level and this is frustrasting.

In an older version, the timer was put on pause whenever someone was mining - can we have it back? Or maybe introduce a better pickaxe to mine faster?
