To avoid unnecessary travel back and forth between Arcadia and Virelda for the sake of banking items. Also if we can improve the terrain visuals between the two cities as travelling between them feels very plain.
I belive that is a feature to incentivize the use of appartments. If you get a beacon, access to your bank + crafing spaces, then the space around the Virelda village or the new Lush biome beacon is valuable.

Instead of a full branch, an Arcadia ATM in Virelda might be a more efficient solution, offering quick banking access without the need to backtrack. Adding an Arcadia ATM in Everdune could also be very beneficial.
