Suggestion to Improve Station XP System for Enhanced Progression
Hello, development team!
I wanted to bring attention to the current experience (XP) system for the Station. As it stands, the system awards only 20 XP per crafting operation, regardless of how many items are crafted in a single session. However, upgrading the Station requires a substantial amount of experience, making the current progression feel quite slow and potentially discouraging for players who are actively trying to advance their Station’s capabilities.
A more dynamic approach could be awarding experience points based on each individual item crafted, rather than a flat rate per operation. This adjustment would not only offer a fairer reward for the time and resources players invest but also add greater depth and motivation for engaging with the Station feature. By providing XP for each crafted item, the path to upgrading the Station would feel more attainable, balanced, and rewarding.
Thank you for considering this suggestion, and for all the effort you put into creating an engaging experience for the community. I’m confident that this change would enhance the overall enjoyment and appeal of the crafting system.

Thanks for the suggestion. @_blank0o has brought up some great points already but I’ll be sure to bring this up to the team for discussion nonetheless.

The team mentioned this is by design, to reward the number of times a station has been used as opposed to how many resources have been put in there.
The goal was to stall us and give us a tough target to reach to get those lvl 2 stations. Not many did reach it but some did!
If you want to craft something, come to apt. #8666, you’ll have access to lvl 2 armors and weapons. It is open to everyone and is always filled with coal.
