Hades style gameplay

Given the mob cap is a significant performance bottleneck, if this can’t be improved well enough, consider making the gameplay more refined.

For example, in Hades, there is 5-10 enemies on screen usually (from what I have seen—-def not 50-100+).

This would require extra mechanics:

  • Dashes

  • Random dungeon layout and enemies (probably).

  • low cooldown melee and ranged weapons

  • Ranged primary weapon options

  • 3+ other abilities on various cooldowns, linked to your primary weapon

The rest of the game with the upgrades still stays the same, loot/overworld/crafting all can be the same.

Could also take inspiration from Enter the Gunegon, which has similar lower mob count, random dungeons, etc.
