Flexible Event Access
I’ve been really enjoying the new events feature in Soulbound, specifically the Abyssal Raid, Boss Rush, and Mining Rush. These events offer fantastic opportunities for both solo and team participation. However, a common concern that has arisen—and one I’ve personally experienced—is the challenge of real-life timing constraints. The current system’s reliance on specific time windows can conflict with players’ schedules, potentially excluding them from participating during available playtimes.
To remedy this, I propose a modification to the system that maintains the integrity of the event scheduling but increases flexibility for players. We could implement a system where players are allowed to trigger the event independently within the same window of time they currently have access to, but on an as-needed basis. This approach would still limit players to a certain number of triggers per day to prevent abuse, yet it would provide the flexibility needed to accommodate varying player schedules.
This change would not only enhance the player experience by making it more adaptable to individual availability but also ensure that all players have the opportunity to engage with these events fully, regardless of their daily commitments.
By integrating this more flexible approach, we can improve accessibility and satisfaction with our events, encouraging greater participation and engagement within the Soulbound community.

@Michael Mccallum Thanks, I'm hopeful that flexible event access could enhance player participation in these timed events.

In some games, you get tickets that can be used to access limited dungeons. Implementing this kind of system for mining rush, etc. might allow for additional flexibility for players who otherwise can’t make the live event times.

We're on the same wavelength here, Sean. A ticket system for event access could definitely add the type of flexibility we need.
