Context:
I've played through the tutorial a bit, but I found it difficult to immerse myself in the world due to several inconsistencies, such as:
I arrive in a rioting city where I speak with some robots.
Then, I enter a chamber with a floating android woman, who teleports me (now with clothes) onto a pier next to a ship (Did I arrive on this ship?).
I proceed to explore the island in a darker, “woodland” environment.
When the quests are complete, I head to a different pier where a ship arrives. I say a tearful goodbye to my companions (at least, the sequence feels emotional), but instead of boarding the ship, I’m suddenly teleported to the creator, where a floating train arrives and takes me next to a train station in the desert.
Suggestion:
I recommend building a contextually coherent storyline, where the areas and the transitions between them are logically connected. If teleportation is involved, then perhaps place a teleport gate on the ship or have the ship itself teleport with a glitching effect. This would help maintain immersion and make the narrative flow more naturally.
