Now that we can stack stuff in the bank and are still limited to smaller stacks in the bag, the old way of interacting between the bag and the bank is frustrating and provides a bad UX.
We currently have 2 actions possible to add stuff to the bag:
Click on a stack in the bank
Drag&Drop a stack in the bank
Currently those 2 actions do the same thing: they add a single "bag stack" to the bag.
What I am suggesting is:
to keep the same action when clicking on a stack from the bank (add a single "bag stack" to the bag)
To add the full stack from the bank to the bag when drag&dropping it from the bank to the bag
example if the stack fits in the bag:
I have a stack of 15 bolts in the bank, if I drag&drop it in the bag, I have 5 stacks of 3 Bolts in the bag instantly
If the stack is too big to fit
Show a popup saying it doesn't fit the bag and ask for what action to take:
"Hey pioneer, your bag is too small for all that stuff. What do you want to do?"
Fill my bag with [item] | or let the player define the qty
Cancel
We already can split stacks to the desired quantity in the bank so it would allow for precise and fast bag/bank item management
In many instances when trading between players, filling the bag is time consuming and prone to error (how many stacks of 3 is 50 Bolts?). That would fix that.
